Heated Seats FTW!

Had an epic experience with my iPhone this weekend.

Saturday afternoon I ran some errands–

I picked up some jeans I was having tailored and they couldn’t put on the button that had fallen off– they didn’t have the correct tool. They assured me that a shoe repair shop would be able to do it for me.

In the parking lot, I look up “Shoe Repair” on my iPhone, bingo– one within 2 miles. Right from within the google maps application, I tap on their phone number– ask if they can do this– yup.

Got driving directions from the maps app. Arrived at the repair shop, give them my jeans, find out they only accept cash.

Back in the car, I look up “Bank of America ATM”. Bingo– there’s a BofA ATM 1 mile away. Get driving directions again– drive. I cannot find the ATM in the strip mall, turn on street view in the maps app and find out it’s inside the Japanese Supermarket. Get money, drive back to the shoe repair shop, jeans are finished, drive back home.

All with the help of the trusty little device in my pocket. The jeans fit perfectly BTW…

My new kicks…

Who knew that water drops bounced on the surface BEFORE they combine with the… errrrrr… watch the video.

Very cool 100” multitouch table at the Adventure Science Center in Tennessee– showing space photos in different wavelengths.

Cool Endless Racing game for iPhone… now only if I had that many iPhones…

Amazing video of the day– The Amazing Bouncing Pebble Toad!

Weird video of the day (funny too)…
